Project

Jockey Club Elderly Knee Health 360 Project

This project is piloted in 11 rental housing estates under the Housing Society. A systematic screening process was implemented to identify older adults at risk of knee joint problems, and an AI-powered mobile application was successfully developed to provide quick and convenient knee health assessments. This enables early detection of potential issues and timely delivery of personalised treatment recommendations.

The project has provided professional knee screening and training guidance to over 1,000 older adults. Additionally, more than 2,000 residents have benefited from a series of health talks and educational activities. The application effectively monitors knee health, promotes early intervention, prevents pain, and significantly reduces the risk of falls.
