User Experience: A Bathing System Supporting Independent Living for Older Adults and Intergenerational Inclusion

We previously engaged older adults and carers in exploring the user experience of the INAX Shower de Bath system, providing valuable insights for the development team. The product has since been enhanced and is now known as the INAX Body Hug Shower system.  In this project, older adults and family carers were invited to try out the system in the Living Lab’s simulated home environment and share their experiences in a setting that closely reflects daily life.  By gathering first-hand user feedback, we aim to support the ongoing refinement of the product and explore how innovative bathing solutions can help older adults maintain independent living, promote intergenerational inclusion, and enhance the quality of life of older adults and their families.
