Age-Friendly Home Professional Training Workshop

1. Professor Christopher K. S. LEUNG, Department Chairperson and Clinical Professor of the Department of Ophthalmology from HKU, delivered an educational talk on the common eye problems among elderly, introducing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment for elders suffering from eye problems.

2. Dr. Cheng Chi Kwan, Sam, a registered Optometrist from Poly Vision, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the examination and assessment of eye problems associated with advancing age.

3. Social worker of our centre, Ms. Natelie Mok shared the community resources about age-friendly home.

4. Occupational Therapist of our centre, Ms. Kate Lau delivered talk on the concept and application of age-friendly home.

5. Participants also had the opportunity to experience and visit the visual health tour at the ERC.
